Mac software updates for Feb. 8

ZiggySoft has released a new version (2.3.7) of iWeb Valet (http://www.ziggy-soft.com/News.html(, a tool to enhance and upload iWeb pages. The upgrade: adds basic support for international fonts; removes FTP real-time logging to increase listing speed; corrects an iDisk transfer bug; and enhances the Text menu.

Tension Software has updated Password Repository (http://www.pomola.com/products_passwordrepository/passwordrepository.html), a Mac OS X password storage utility, to version 2.11.9. It's a maintenance release that fixes some bugs.

Veenix Software has updated TypeBook Creator (http://www.veenix.com/FontTools.html), professional font cataloging and specimen printing software for the Mac, to version 2.4. The upgrade features an new approach to font organization that sorts fonts by energy and ranks them using an associative color. The new version also features "Quick Mix Suggestions" which allows the user to select a font and quickly see and print a list of fonts with similar characteristics.

Postbox Inc. (http://www.postbox-inc.com) has announced Postbox 1.1.1, an update to its flagship email product. The app offers new ways to find, use, and view email messages and content. With version 1.1, Postbox now integrates with Address Book, iCal and extends search to work with Spotlight.

Malkinware has updated Reference Tracker (http://www.malkinware.com/referencetracker/), their academic reference manager and research tool for Mac OS X, to version 1.6. The upgrade adds support for the Australian Government Publication Service Harvard referencing style.

InfoWallet (http://www.infowallet.com) -- a software program that keeps a person's information private, yet available, and works on any USB flash drive or computer -- has been updated to version 1.1.05. The upgrade adds a Login Assistant that extends the use of passwords to automate logging in to websites and other programs with as little as two or three clicks.
