Review: this iPad case is Bubble-licious

If you need a case that will really keep your iPad safe while you're on the go, check out the US$49.95 Bubble Sleeve (http://www.hardcandycases.com/ipad-bubblesleeve.html) from Hard Candy Cases. It looks good, offers a high level of protection and is flexible in the way you can use it.

The EVA-molded, rigid Bubble Sleeve is made with detailed stitching and sports interior shock absorbing fitted rubber bumpers to keep the iPad securely in place. A soft, padded interior lining protects the Multi-Touch display. The zippered case -- with "pulls" that have a rubberized feel that I like -- lets you use the iPad in and out of its sleeve. You can use it as a stand-alone case or, due to its compact design, slip it inside a bigger bag.

The Bubble Sleeve is available in green, pink and black. I recommend the black. (All have a black interior.)

When you see the sleeve, you'll know how it got its name. There are 15 bubbles on both sides that do two things. One: they protect the iPad; if you drop the Bubble Sleeve, the bubbles take the brunt of the impact. Two: they make it easy to grip the sleeve, making it less likely that said bubbles will have to absorb said impact. Also, inside are soft "bubble-wrap-like" pockets to protect the iPad screen and a soft, back interior to keep the aluminum back of the Apple device from scratching.

When you want to use the Bubble Sleeve, you unzip it, place the iPad between the shock absorbing rubber bumpers, zip the case closed, and you're on your way. So far this is my favorite of all the iPad cases I've gotten my hands on. I highly recommend it.

It could have easily happened that my life would have taken me down the road of becoming a meteorologist. However, that didn’t happen and I found myself becoming a journalist instead.
