Blue Lamp Software (http://bluelampsoftware.com/printsprint/) has updated PrintSprint, a Mac OS X utility for users who want prints from their digital photos, to version 1.6. The upgrade adds the option (in the preferences) to remove photos from the order after printing or collecting them. It also speeds up printing to PostScript printers.

According to the folks at Blue Lamp Software, PrintSprint makes it simple to select photos, set the print size, quantity, and crop and then generate your order. It never modifies your originals and it works with your organizational system so it doesn’t matter if you’re using iPhoto, Aperture or have your photos on your hard drives or CDs.

PrintSprint requires Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”) or higher. A demo is available for download. PrintSprint costs US$19.95, but version 1.6 is a free update for registered users.
