O’Reilly Media has released “FileMaker Pro 11: The Missing Manual,” a 928-book to guide readers through the use of FileMaker Pro 11. It costs US$39 for a print edition and $31 for an ebook version.

According to the folks at O’Reilly, the manual helps you get started, build your database, and produce results, whether you’re running a business, pursuing a hobby, or planning your retirement. It’s written by Suan Prosser and Stuart Gripman.


Prosser a former journalist and a current FileMaker Certified Developer and has developed FileMaker databases for more than 15 years. Gripman is the founder of Crooked Arm Corp, a full-service FileMaker Pro consulting and development firm based in Berkeley, California.
