Connecticut’s Attorney General Richard Blumenthal said Monday that e-book deals between Apple and Amazon and major book publishers may be anti-competitive, reports “MarketWatch” (http://macosg.me/2/mm).

Blumenthal’s office said he is investigating whether these agreements lead to less competition when it comes to book prices. “These agreements among publishers, Amazon and Apple appear to have already resulted in uniform prices for many of the most popular e-books — potentially depriving consumers of competitive prices,” he said.
