Griffin announces accessories for new iPod touch, iPod nano

Griffin Technology (http://www.griffintechnology.com) has announced their first accessories for Apple's new iPod nano and iPod touch. The selection of devices includes the new Wristlet for iPod nano and FormFit for iPod touch, as well as updates to Griffin's Outfit, Elan Form, FlexGrip, and Motif case lines.

Griffin's US$19.99 Wristlet (shown at top) is a one-piece case and wrist strap design for the iPod nano. Tough, stretchy silicone surrounds your iPod nano, protecting the volume controls and hold switch. The wrist strap keeps your iPod secured but close by for access.

The $24.99 FormFit is Griffin's newest take on the silicone skin for the newest iPod touch. The sheer silicone jacket is framed with a one-piece nylon retaining ring that stretches the silicone back and gives FormFit its structure. FormFit offers full access to the Multi-Touch display, camera, controls, headphone jack, and dock connector.

The $29.99 FlexGrip Action for iPod touch is a silicone case that protects against dirt, dings, and dents. It's built for gaming and molded into a shape that's easy to grip in both hands. The twin wedge grips optimizes your iPod touch for two-handed gaming, and the included lanyard provides added security.

The $29.99 Outfit Ice for iPod touch is a hard-shell case that surrounds your iPod touch in a polycarbonate shell with a frosted matte finish to protect against dings and dents. The design lets the bottom of the case slide on and off for docking. The bonus included microStand is built to hold your iPod in its case for video viewing, FaceTime, and more.

The $34.99 Elan Form Graphite for iPod touch offers two layers of protection in a slim, pocketable design. The synthetic carbon fibre-look outer layer is bonded to an impact-resistant inner shell that slides snug around your iPod. EasyDock design allows quick docking without removing your iPod from the case. The included microStand holds your iPod in its case for video viewing, FaceTime, and more.

The $19.99 Motif Gloss for iPod touch (shown at bottom) is made of material is stiffer than silicone-based cases, but more flexible than a polycarbonate case. Smoked TPU is molded with a deep, glossy finish, with textured lines for easy gripping. Strategically-placed cut-outs provide access to the Multi-Touch display, camera, headphone jack, dock connector, and camera. The included microStand holds your iPod in its case for video viewing, FaceTime, and more.
