7twenty7 has announced Stencils – Draw & Design! 1.0, an app that enables users to create artwork on their iPhone and iPod touch devices. It comes with a built-in library of over 100 stencil shapes in 10 categories. Other features include multi-level undo, the ability to open a photo to paint directly on, and the option to save or email the creation directly from the app. The Stencils App has a limited-time introductory price of US$0.99; the regular price is $1.99.

Vito Technology has updated their $2.99, 3D Solar System app for the iPhone. Pluto and Retina Display support have been added.

Where will you be for Halloween? Well, if you can’t make it to a graveyard, why not bring one home? Ghost Buddy is a $0.99, 3D first-person simulation app for the iPhone that casts you as a kind of “ghost whisperer” who has devoted himself to helping lead lost souls to their graves.

Nigel Green has announced TeachMe Colors 2 for iPad. The second app in a series of three, the $1.99 app is aimed generally at 3-5 year olds and encompasses the concept of play-based learning. Through five activities and with the aid of someone to guide them, the child learns how to distinguish between 19 different colors. Activities include Random Light And Dark Balloon, Named Random Color, Random Color and Object, Drawing Activity and Color Memory Game.

Disney Publishing Worldwide has launched its Disney Epic Mickey App for viewing Disney Digicomics for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. The first Disney Digicomic available in the app is “Tales of Wasteland”, which comprise 6 eight-page short comic stories that take place in Wasteland, an alternate world made up of Disney’s forgotten creative efforts. Users get a preview of Wasteland and feature characters from the upcoming Disney Epic Mickey video game, including Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney’s first cartoon star. The first comic story, “Tales of Wasteland” is free and the additional five may be bought as a bundle for $2.99.

Badboi Creations today released Home Run Derby Challenge Pro for the iPhone and iPod touch. The pro edition of the $2.99, accelerometer based game adds four new characters, four new stadiums, online multiplayer, and global leaderboards.

Sly Fox Productions has introduced Crosswords/Downwords 1.2 for iOS. Combining crosswords, anagrams and acrostics together in one neat package, the $0.99 app is “word square” game where letters are arranged into a square to form words both across and down. It features a hints-and-cheats system, a built-in dictionary and puzzles with multiple solutions.

Perfect World Programming has rolled out TubeOrganizer 1.1, an update of its $0.99 iOS app that lets you search, categorize, store, and view your favorite YouTube videos. It lets you get to the content you want to see. TubeOrganizer is customizable.

iKontacts is offering Hexetera 1.0.1, an update of its $1.99 triangles puzzle game for the iPhone and iPod touch. The objective is to move, explode, rotate, color, destroy and drop Primaries in a triangular grid, to form single color hexagon and diagonal formations. The game is further intensified by secondaries and reward buttons and offers two game mode, Facebook, Twitter and iPod integration and more.
