Interactive Data Corporation, a provider of financial market data, analytics and related solutions, has announced Interactive Data Mobile, a companion offering to the Interactive Data suite of desktop and web-based solutions for financial professionals. The application, which uses the latest technology and delivers streaming financial data and powerful tools, is available free for the iPhone.

TeleNav, a global wireless location-based services providers, has released MyTies, a mobile-only, private social networking application for the iPhone. The free app allows users to leverage their personal address book and contacts to create multiple private networks by inviting contacts to join and form groups. Users can form separate groups based on whom they want to share information with, for example, a group of co-workers, a group of family members and a group of college friends. This multiple-group structure allows to easily choose which group or groups can view their messages, photos, videos and location information.

ForestKings has introduced LifeStones 1.0 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. The $0.99 game offers a playing concept based on real reflections of life. One human player and up to three virtual players can take part in the turn based game, strategizing to collect colored stones and get the highest score.

Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and Callaway Digital Arts have cooked up Martha Stewart Makes Cookies for the iPad. The $7.99 app sports more than 50 recipes, shopping lists, “how-to” videos, timers, and techniques.
Viaden Mobile is presenting FoodMeter: Good Food or Bad Food? 1.0, a $0.99 app developed for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch that lends a helping hand in choosing healthy food while shopping in a supermarket. FoodMeter is a smart app that finds out within seconds how healthy a food item is. The food evaluation is based on the Food Score system.

Okenko Books now offers picture books through a subscription system for parents who are on the go. The $0.99 app is designed to give students, teachers, politicians, lecturers or any kind of speech maker everything needed to create, practice, hear and give speeches. It can archive thousands of speeches. SpeechMaker comes with a number of famous speeches built in, and some include the original audio. What’s more, it can import and export the text and audio of speeches in a variety of ways.

Tekton Technologies is offering System Monitor with Battery Max 1.0, an all-in-one comprehensive health check meter for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. It’s a $1.99 battery app, along with a system monitor, that provides a “complete health check” for your iOS devices.

Cause Technologies has rolled out Code Clock 1.0 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The $0.99 app was created “to become a salvation for all sleepyheads who consider mornings to be evil, hate them, or are often late and have problems because of it.” To turn it off, users will have to enter a randomized digital code.

iStoryTime has announced Megamind Storybook App 1.0 for iOS devices. Left Coast Logic has introduced Smart Pad 1.0, their calendar and productivity tool for iPad users. The $18.99 app features a calendar, organizer, task manager, integrated notes system, and time tracker — all wrapped in a familiar day-book planner.

Yasmin Studios has unveiled Hansel and Gretel — Children’s Interactive Storybook HD 1.0 for iPad, their latest interactive eBook. Taken from the famous fairy tale as recorded by the Brothers Grimm in the early 19th century, this $0.99, interactive version features graphics, professional narration, optional symphonic musical accompaniment, characters that can be moved and respond to touch, advanced lighting and animation effects, and forward and backward page turns.

Readdle has announced Calendars 2.0, a major update to its $6.99 iPhone/iPad app for tracking events and appointments based on Google’s online calendar. Version 2.0 lets people manage tasks and events, create to-do lists and sync their information with a Google account.

Team17 has released Worm 2: Armageddon for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. In the new version of the $4.99 game, there are new game-types, custom game-styles and 30 campaign levels where users can spend hard-earned gold on hats, forts, gravestones and weapons for the improved multiplayer mode.

Clinically Relevant Technologies has rolled out a major update to CORE (Clinical ORthopaedic Exam), bringing it natively to the iPad. The $39.99 app is a tool for users who perform clinical examinations to diagnose musculosketal problems.
