Tekkeon (http://www.tekkeon.com) has unveiled a slim, rechargeable battery case for the iPhone. myPower includes a swappable battery pack that can be exchanged on the go.
This US$79.95 battery case not only provides extra power on the go, it protects the iPhone 4 from everyday wear and tear. It also acts as a dock for automatic syncing via a micro USB 2.0 interface.
myPower for iPhone 4 features Tekkeon’s eSwap technology, in which the battery is housed in a separate module that can be exchanged with a fresh battery module while on the go. The battery case comes with the Ultra Slim 1200 mAh battery pack, with extra battery packs — both the Ultra Slim battery pack ($39.95) and the Ultra Power 2200 mAh battery pack ($49.95) — available as optional modules.
Equipped with a replaceable efficient lithium polymer battery pack, myPower for iPhone 4 preserves the iPhone battery by bypassing the battery and directly powering (rather than charging) iPhone 4. When plugged into a USB power adapter or computer USB port, myPower for iPhone 4 will simultaneously charge the connected iPhone 4 battery.
