Widget Revolt has announced the first version of Timewinder available for the iPad. The US$2.99 app offers a background alarm clock that takes advantage of the 4.2 iOS system. The new version of Timewinder also includes customer-requested features including background timer notifications that do not require user interaction for all iOS compatible devices.

Qwizzly has released Medley 1.0, a $1.99 anagram word puzzle game for iOS devices. It offers a new approach to the classic anagram word puzzles. Solve the puzzles by flipping tilled letters horizontally. Words are comprised of 5, 6 or 7 letters depending on the difficulty level. The faster you uncover the words, the more points you gain. Medley offers beginner, medium and advanced levels to advance through.

Rade|Eccles has introduced Money Engine 1.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch. The free way to track and analyze your spending patterns. It provides a method to log transactions at the point-of-purchase while receiving real-time feedback on total spending for a specified time period.

Mobz technologies has unveiled iSoundGrid Sinterklaas, a new iSoundGrid edition for iOS devices. Developed especially for the Dutch market and Dutch expats, this free sound effects app contains a specially selected set of funny Sinterklaas sounds. These particular sounds will be very recognizable for everyone who is familiar with the Dutch Sinterklaas event. The iSoundGrid player can play up to 16 sounds simultaneously.

GreySox has debuted Finger Stomp 1.0, a street music and old-school urban hip-hop music making app for the iPhone and iPod touch. The $0.99 app features everything users need in order to make their own freestyle version of urban music. Users can choose unique items such as chains, cans, signs and buckets to recreate their own individual street music.

Crawl Space Games has unleashed Zombies Ala Mode 1.0 for iPhone. In the $2.99 app, you play as a hard working zombie trying to make it in this economy. It has 50 levels and three different games modes: Career, Survival and Bug Attack.

David Segatore has served up Personal Food Additives 1.0 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. The $2.99 app was created to help with consumer choice of food. Users can create a personal profile, and according to different characteristics, eating habits, or any disease find out whether a product is harmful to their personal diet. Each additive potentially has its own side effects; harmless for most of people but not identified or dangerous to other diets.

Coladia has produced Destination: Treasure Island HD 1.0, the new iPad version of their puzzle game. It’s a $9.99, point-and-click adventure game inspired by the Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel “Treasure Island.”

EuroSmartz says Save2PDF, their new, $4.99 app enables iOS device owners to not only convert files to PDF, but also combine files of entirely different formats and origins into a single PDF file. A preview of the new PDF is provided within the “PDF Creation Screen” and this also enables the easy arrangement and order of the source files as well as providing page range and paper size selection for the new PDF file.

Kniveswood Studios is offering MangaBlade 1.0, a full-featured manga and comic book viewer for the iPad. The $5.99 app combines three elements for manga consumption: a user interface designed specifically for the Apple tablet, integration with online manga catalogs, and the ability to import your own manga.

M Cubed Software has announced its first iOS application, Storyboards. The $14.99 app allows users to build up and play back storyboard sequences, allowing them to design anything from a scene in a film to the user interface of a piece of software.

Red Umbrella Press has published The Terribly Tall Tales of EnzoB: Born to Race 1.0 for iPad users. The $6.99 app offers the tale of a dwarf beagle, who overcomes obstacles to fulfill his dream to race. Geared to children, six to nine years of age, the 145-page book is full of interactive fun and is illustrated with hand painted artwork. Born to Race is the first in a four-part adventure series, The Terribly Tall Tales of EnzoB.

“Car and Driver” has launched a self-titled digital magazine/app for the iPad. It “combines the best features of the magazine, including in-depth car reviews, car comparison tests and award-winning automotive journalism with embedded car videos, stunning car photo galleries and up-to-the-minute automotive news feeds — all in a fully-interactive environment.” The inaugural December 2010 issue of Car and Driver’s digital edition will be available as a free download as will archived versions of the October 2010 and November 2010 issues. New issues of “Car and Driver,” starting with the January 2011 issue, will be available for download through In App Purchase for $2.99 each.

TopLineSoft Systems has announced Space Navigator ($0.99) and Space Navigator Lite (free) for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Offering a strategic arcade experience, it places users in the navigator’s chair and tasks them with landing differently colored space shuttles onto planets of the appropriate color simultaneously without causing a mid-space collision between either the various shuttles or between shuttles and other meteors.

Seasonality Go for the iPad has been updated to version 1.2.  The first change in the $9.99 app is a new current conditions display that includes a graphic representation of the wind, as well as a cloud profile showing up to three cloud layers in the atmosphere.  There are new in-app settings and help. Finally, Seasonality Go 1.2 is more user friendly by automatically remembering graph positions and allowing users to swipe to quickly switch between screens.  

WineSpace has announced Golf SwingCheck 1.4 for iPhone and iPod touch devices. The $1.9 app enables you to check your golf swing and allows you to work out your check points like address, take back, swing top, impact, on-plane swing and more. Version 1.4 now includes a share feature, which allows users to share the video on YouTube and Facebook.

Talkwit.TV has released Talkwit.TV 1.0.1 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. The free app is the a real-time social guide for TV, replacing the need for traditional cable guides. Shows are ranked as they air based on their social popularity with Twitter and Facebook users, as they watch them.

Zing! Apps has introduced Snake Classic 2.0, its first game title for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. The gameplay stays true to the classic, with the experience adding a host of modern iOS features such as a Global Leader Board, Facebook and Twitter integration, and more. Snake Classic 2.0 is free and available worldwide exclusively through the Apple App Store in the Games category. The game offers the option of purchasing an ad free version for $0.99 that has all premium features such as Fields and Wallpapers unlocked and ready to use. These premium features can be unlocked in the regular free version of Snake Classic by trying out recommended free apps.

Electric Pocket has unveiled BugMe! 1.09, a universal version of its $1.99 sticky ink notes and alarms app, enabling the same version to work on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices. BugMe! lets users jot quick notes and doodles — with their finger as the pen — just like a digital sticky note. The new universal version also improves support for posting notes on Twitter and makes it possible to access BugMe! notes on the desktop using iTunes file-sharing.

Cutlass has updated AZza 1.01 — a single-touch, fast-art generator for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch — to version 1.01. Each click on the $0.99 app produces an “original art work.”

AppoTize has served up Convert2 — TechPro for iPad 2.0, an update of their unit conversion app for scientists, engineers, technicians and students. The $1.99 app contains “thousands of sought-after conversions for the technical professional.” onversions include description and unit symbols for accuracy and rigorous unit analysis. It supports printing of conversion tables with iOS 4.2 and AirPrint, and allows for wireless printing to any AirPrint supported device.
