PowerProduction Software has updated StoryBoard Quick — software for visually planning media projects — to version 6, adding new screenwriting software imports including support for Final Draft fdx format.

StoryBoard Quick integrates with screenwriting applications such as Final Draft, Screenwriter , Montage, Storyist, etc. and batched image imports. It’s designed for pre-production planning for projects and lets you compose your shots using the ready-made art as well as enabling the layering and compositing of integrated artwork with imported photos.

Other new features in version 6 include import from scheduling and breakdown programs such as Gorilla Film Production Software (Budgeting and Scheduling) as well as scheduling from Entertainment Partners. These features and more are available in the stand-alone applications for both Windows (32 and 64-bit compatible) and Macintosh.
