Comprised of a hardware dock, blood pressure arm cuff and iHealth App, this product lets users self-monitor their blood pressure from the convenience of their home, and share the results with friends, family and their doctor.
Navigon AG, a provider of mobile phone on-board navigation, has introduced a free Audi branded iPhone navigation app for the Consumer Electronics Show 2011 (CES), Audi Las Vegas Navigator. The app is based on Navigon’s MobileNavigator and helps CES visitors to navigate around Las Vegas. Audi Las Vegas Navigator includes maps for the state of Nevada.
Park Lane Editions has unveiled Asia Treasures — Bagan 1.0 for iPad, a $2.99 travel app that explores in text and pictures one of the most breathtaking archaeological sites in Southeast Asia, Bagan.The Burmese city contains over 2,000 magnificent Buddhist temples, pagodas, and stupas of all sizes. The app includes hundreds of HD photos in seven chapters, Wikipedia links for more information, a thumbnail gallery, maps of Burma and Bagan, a Favorites Library, and tips on travel and hotels.
Portable Arts has debuted Contact Ringtone 1.0, an iPhone ringtone generator that lets you create ringtones from your contact list. The $0.99 app lets users create custom spoken ringtones by simply selecting the names and numbers from the existing list of contacts in the iPhone. Additional announcements can be added before or after the name.
Elite Gudz has produced Spray Face 1.0 for iOS devices. The free app combines photo prank elements with a platform of art and design. At Sullie’s diner, anyone is fair game for a virtual food fight. The main objective is to plaster your friends faces with cream, mustard and relish. Users can choose any face from their photo album. Spray Face features a variety of gooey sprayable condiments, and users can share their photos on Twitter, Facebook and Email connect.
The iPhone App Lab is offering BabyBaby Steps 1.0 for iOS devices. The $2.99 app allows users to record, store and share a baby’s key milestones. Developed with the busy parent in mind, users can capture photos, videos, and audio along with a timestamp of when their baby’s milestone occurred. Completed milestones are stored in the app’s archive, and can be shared with a preset list of loved ones via Facebook, Twitter, SMS and email.
James Hollender has cooked up his iSatFat app for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The $1.99 app allows users to find out the saturated fat content in over 1,100 different food servings, helpful information for those who must limit their saturated fat intake. Based on the USDA National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference, the food servings in iSatFat are rated from extremely low to extremely high in saturated fat content.
Percipo has served up three new iPhone applications, PhotoGenic, PhotoAge, and ChickOrDude, each of which uses an advanced AI engine to scan selected photos for faces and delivers a score that quantifies attractiveness, youthfulness, or masculinity versus femininity, respectively. Users can take a photo of themselves, select one from Facebook or their photo library, or find any photo online. PhotoGenic is $1.99; PhotoAge and ChickOrDude are $0.99 each.
The Sudoku masters at Cluemaster have created Social Sudoku, the first live arcade version of the game for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Through Game Center, the $3.99 app allows two people access to the same board at the same time, awarding points to each player as they plot numbers into the grid. Players who input the wrong answers get locked into the “sin bin” for 10 seconds while the other player continues to get points and place numbers.
Tiny Mammal has unleashed Weather Doodle 1.0, a weather app for iOS devices. The $0.99 app is an “artistically-focused, deliciously animated weather app that presents users with a radical new concept, introducing iPhone and iPod touch users to a sophisticated weather art delivery system.”
With the New Year finally here and a flood of fitness apps available, Jones APR is offering SixPack App PRO, 101 Yoga Poses, Fitness Library and Yoga Library. Fitness Library and Yoga Library are each complete books than have been engineered to work on the iPad. Fitness Library contains info for over 100 exercises and stretches. Yoga Library features over 100 Yoga poses. The apps are $4.99 each.

The $1.99 app that provides complete tracking, analysis, and management of all aspects of maintaining a successful fitness or personal Training business. TheBoss manages scheduling, income and expenses, training sessions, client contact, and referrals. Also available is an optional web site subscription, providing data backup, sync, profit and loss statements, data export, plus all the functions of the iPhone app.
