The free iPhone app contains a variety of features for today’s traveler, including worldwide airline flight schedules, flight status, weather information with seven-day forecasts, notifications to users of updates and changes, an airport locator and important contact phone numbers. The eSkyGuide also provides the ability to look up flight schedules in Flight Mode when Internet access is disabled.

Commercial Defeasance has released iDefease, a free mobile calculator that allows commercial real estate professionals to estimate defeasance costs for any loan instantly on their iPhone, iPod touch or iPad. It also answers frequently asked questions and gives users the option to call Commercial Defeasance for assistance with the touch of a button.

Convershakn has introduced an US$1.99 family entertainment app for iPhones, iPods, and iPads designed to help families improve their communication. Convershakn 1.0 generates age and gender-specific questions about school, friends, values, goals, faith and many other topics.

BadOnlineDates.com has unveiled its free BadDates iPhone app, where users can post their hilarious bad date stories right from their phones in real time, connect with others, watchBad Date TV webisodes, and more. The app is the mobile component of the BadOnlineDates.com web site.

Eio apps has debuted Mixeroo for iOS devices. It’s a $1.99 musical app that gives children control over the instruments in the mix of a song. It allows children and other users to hear the individual elements of a song and change the balance between them. Each instrument is associated with a brightly colored fader that invites them to see what will happen when they take something away or put something back.

Mobitics has created Miembro 1.0 for iPhone and iPod touch users who have a camera in their device. The $4.99 app provides a portable membership creation and monitoring platform, complete with QR code generator and scanner. Users are able to set up and monitor member cards, loyalty programs, funds and points for each customer, right from their devices.

Melissa Finley, LMT of Mending Hands Massage Therapy has produced Anatomy In Motion 1.0 for iOS devices. The $26.99 app features over 225 muscles with 100 action animations, showing the muscle movements. Users can isolate each muscle individually to view the attachment to the skeleton. With over 450 flashcards, users can explore muscle layering, from the skeleton to the most superficial layer.

ComPart Multimedia has published ItalyGuides: Rome Travel Guide for iPhone, the second in their series of audio/video travel guides. The app presents 55 different points of interest in Rome, and includes over 290 images, maps, and video. ItalyGuides: Rome Travel Guide is available for $4.99 for a limited time.

The “Fox in Socks” app is now available on the Apple Store for $3.99. In this story Dr. Seuss introduced two characters, Fox and Knox, who converse almost entirely in rhyming tongue-twisters. Together they enjoy rhymes that grow in complexity.

“JFK History Maker — a Fifty Year Retrospective” is being published on Jan. 20, 50 years after John F. Kennedy, America’s 34th President, was inaugurated. It’s being published simultaneously as a book, an ebook in mutiple formats, and as an iPad/iPhone app ($4.99), all at the same time.

Monte-Lingual 1 to 10 has gone “lite” and is available for download for free. It’s a series of educational games based on the Montessori teaching method for pre-school and elementary school children.

The Juno Company has served up Juno’s Piano, an app that provides children with a way to learn the real-life basics of playing piano. It’s available for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad at an introductory price of $0.99.

Taxsoftware.com is offering a self-titled application for federal form 1040 tax year 2009 free on the iPad. The return can be completed entirely on the Apple tablet and transferred to Macs or PCs. A lot of users need to file late returns or amend previously filed ones.

EuroSmartz has announced version 1.8 of PrintBureau ($12.99) and PrintCentral ($9.99), their flagship apps for the iPad and iPhone. They allow you to print documents, email, web pages and much more to Apple devices. With the latest version of either PrintCentral or PrintBureau, device owners will now be able to print directly to most existing wireless printers from any app that supports AirPrint, without the need for an ePrint enabled printer.

Jung Disk has updated Dotori Player for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users to version 1.2. The $2.99 app lets users access live broadcasts, remote videos and multiple document types, without having to convert them to device friendly files. Dotori Player also provides subtitle and closed caption support, as well the ability to organize and adjust files. All files are transferred via WiFi, without the need of a USB and controls are simple finger gestures.

Dzine Apps has released Historical iMarkers 1.0.1 for iOS devices. The $0.99 app offers a database of historical markers. Users are able to find roadside markers for any area, read or have the app read the description aloud and share the information via email. Data comes from participating State Historical Preservation Offices, the National Register of Historical Places, as well as sites and users who contribute information.
