This week’s “MUG Event Calendar” continues to echo from Macworld 2011, but the presenters start to return to the mix, after having recovered from the show.

“Macworld” Senior Editor Christopher Breen will make two virtual MUG appearances, one in New York and one in Oregon. Dave Hamilton of “The Mac Observer” and “Mac Geek Gab” will present to a Nevada group, and Rob Pegorano of The Washington Post will demonstrate tax software to a Washington D.C. group.

Macworld 2011 will be the focus in Texas, Pennsylvania, California and more, The Mac App Store will make several appearances, along with GarageBand, Automator, using your Mac for health care issues and more.

“The MUG Event Calendar” can be found at The MUG Center (http://www.mugcenter.com), an online resource for Mac User Groups. MUGs are good places for making new friends in the Mac community, improving your computing skills, finding solutions to technical problems, and perhaps locating a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s MUG page (http://www.apple.com/usergroups/).
