Lombard Sleeve offers decent MB Pro protection in flowery package


The Lombard Sleeve (http://macte.ch/8qqSI) is a well designed MacBook Pro sleeve at a fairly reasonable price (US$64.99). It's lean and sports a designer-styled exterior on both the front and back panels that's highly water-resistant.

The flowery designer pattern -- available in "black antik" and "white antik" -- didn't do much for me. Then again I'm a guy who has his iPhone in a case that looks like an engine gasket.

Appearances aside, the Lombard Sleeve offers decent protection for your MB Pro (it comes in 13-inch and 15-inch versions). It boasts ballistic nylon and premium tricot lining and closed-cell foam padding. There's also a removable nylon shoulder strap included.

There are similar sleeves on the market. The biggest factor in deciding whether to go with the Lombard is if you like the kaleidoscope design.
