U-Suit Premium Executive Director my choice for my iPhone 4S

Uniea makes approximately eight zillion iPhone cases. The best may be the U-Suite Premium -- Executive Director (http://macte.ch/6Woit), an US$34.95 case I'm using with my iPhone 4S.

I favor the U-Suite Premium because it offers decent protection, while still allowing the elegant design of the Apple smartphone to show through. Constructed of polycarbonate plastic, the case -- which is only 0.8mm thick -- adds only a little extra heft to the iPhone 4S. It comes in a variety of colors; I chose the white, so the U-Suite Premium looks as if it's part of my white phone.

The case has cutouts for all the iPhone 4S ports, buttons, and switches, including a flash-optimized camera lens cutout. The latter doesn't obscure or block the phone's 8 megapixel camera at all.

Uniea also includes a screen protector, something every iPhone should have. And, yes, I had my usual difficult time applying it without trapping any air bubbles between the screen protector and the iPhone screen.

An U-Suit Premium enclosed iPhone feels secure in your hands. It offers a rugged leather grip that helps prevent accidental droppage (yes, that's a word I made up) of the smartphone.

There are cases that offer more protection. There are cases that are swankier. But for good protection and good looks at a good price, it's hard to top the U-Suite Premium -- Executive Director.

I’m all for game controllers for iOS devices, for what it’s worth. I’ve got a few of them, and they are all gathering dust. The issue with controllers for mobile devices is that they never get used.
