Acoustic Research (http://acoustic-research.com) has announced its ARAP50 AirPlay Audio System. Now your iTunes playlists can get high quality AR sound and stream your music wirelessly, says David Geise, president of Audiovox Accessories Corp. the parent company of Acoustic Research.

AirPlay is Apple technology for wireless music streaming. It gives music lovers complete access, control, and playback of their entire iTunes music library. It requires iTunes 10.1 or later. In addition to AirPlay and DLNA 1.5, the networked audio players feature vTuner Internet radio, iPhone and Android control apps and a 2.5-inch full-color LCD display.

Plug in the AR audio system to any 12-volt outlet, connect it to your WiFi network and you can stream music wirelessly from any iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch in your network. The ARAP50 keeps control in the palm of your hand as you continue using your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch to control the music.

The AirPlay Audio System also doubles as a docking station. What's more, it allows you to get music from multiple Apple devices. The ARAP50 will be available in the spring of 2012 with a suggested retail price of US$199.99.
