Idealo.co.uk, a price comparison website, has recently undertaken a worldwide price analysis of Apple's online shop pricing and compared prices from all 37 online Apple country stores. These were some of the key findings of the research:

Highlights for the US:

° The Apple stores in the U.S. and Singapore offer the best deals on Apple prices when considering a country's economy with that country's Apple online store prices.

° The best deals on Apple prices are from Apple country stores in English speaking countries. USA, Hong Kong, Canada and Australia all rank in the top eight.

Highlights for the rest of the world:

° The online Apple stores of Brazil, the Czech Republic and Thailand have the most expensive prices in the entire world, even though their economies rank as three of the poorest.

° Malaysia's online Apple store offers the cheapest prices in the world.

° Including VAT, in Western Europe only the tax heavy Scandinavian Apple stores are more expensive than the UK's.

° The UK also has the worst deal on Apple prices of all English speaking countries.
