DB-Text is new text format manager for Mac OS X


Tension Software has released DB-Text 1.0 for Mac OS X. The app is able to import, edit and manage text format. It requires Mac OS X 10.6.6 or higher and costs US$5. It's available at the Mac App Store and the Tension Software website (http://www.pomola.com/products_dbtext/).

DB-Text can import data both in CSV (comma separated value) text format or in TSV (tab separated value) text format coming from Mac OS X, Windows and Unix systems. Data can be manipulated and exported as text (as they were imported) or saved inside a native DB-Text document.

A pop-up inside the import dialog lets you specify field destinations. DB-Text supports data browsing before import inside the import dialog and an optional 'Use first row as header" feature.
