TextSoap Express 1.0 slips onto the Mac


Unmarked Software has released TextSoap Express 1.0, a plain text cleaning solution based on its TextSoap product. It requires Mac OS X 10.7.x ("Lion") and is available through the Mac App Store with a retail price of US$23.99. However, it has an launch price of $14.99 through Feb 5.

TextSoap Express is designed specifically for the occasional user who needs the basics in cleaning up email text without fonts, styles, or colors. It includes the Scrub cleaner from its sibling, TextSoap. Scrub can tackle many of the common text problems found in emails and web such as text wrapping or removing old quote marks.

Express provides five custom cleaners that can be customized to the specific needs of the user, with 10 different core text actions to manipulate text. The software automatically manages the creation of custom cleaners, letting users select a custom cleaner and start dragging in the text actions they desire.
