GEAR4 (http://www.GEAR4.com) has rolled out the Renew SleepClock, which lets you track and manage your sleep from your iPod, iPhone or iPad.

Renew SleepClock teaches you about your sleep efficiency, helping you to understand and adjust your sleep habit, according to the folks at GEAR4. Because you can see how you're sleeping, you can compare data over time in order to sleep better, not just longer, he adds.

Renew SleepClock purportedly knows when you’re trying to go to sleep by sensing your breathing rate. It knows when you’re falling asleep, and fades down your sleep soundtrack when it knows you’ve gone to sleep. It offers complete customization of wake up options, enabling you to choose radio, your iPod music or gentle wake-up sounds.

Renew SleepClock will be available in US Apple retail stores in March for US$199.95. Renew, a free app, can be found on the Apple App Store.
