iPhone/iPod touch/iPad apps for Jan. 31

Majestyk Apps has announced iTraxs 1.0 for iOS devices. The US$0.99 music app allows you to shorten and only play your favorite parts of songs and podcasts that are inside your iOS device. You can listen to the start and end points of the track before you add it to your iTraxs library to ensure accuracy.

BSoft has released TasteOfWind 1.0 for iPad. It's a $2.99, 62-page ebook especially for connoisseurs of fishing, primitive nature, and extreme travel. It features nearly 200 photos that can be displayed full screen, a text narrative, and optional quiz questions through all seven chapters.

Vlad Polyanskiy has introduced iTerminal 1.0 for iOS. The $0.99 remote command line utility lets you use your computer command line processor remote from your iOS device.

Tiktak Games has premiered Terapets for iOS. It's a free game set in Teraland, a world where humans live together with some creatures called Terapets. In the game, you can play with a lot of players about the world with your creatures in the multiplayer mode.

Software Adventures has debuted Family Finger Race, a $0.99 interactive family game. The goal of the game is to win a finger race by rubbing your finger on a small area and causing your animal to move forward.

TourBuddy Systems has presented the Bruce Springsteen Game for iOS. It's an $0.99, interactive quiz that offers Boss Buffs a treasure trove of questions about Bruce, the E-Street Band, their music, the members and their lives both on and off the stage.

A retro alarm clock has been developed by AppOniPhone for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. It's available in three different versions, myOldAlarmClock Lite (free), myOldAlarmClock ($0.99) and myOldAlarmClock Pro ($1.99).

TypeWay ($5.99) is a new "self-adapting" keyboard for the iPad. It continuously adapts the virtual keyboard to individual hands, hand sizes, hand positions, and typing habits.
