Wait time for new iPad shortens -- at least in the U.S.


Apple's online store now shows a wait time of only three to five business days for the new iPad, down from recent wait times of five to seven days. The wait time covers all six variations of the Apple tablet.

As Apple's supply has climbed closer to demand, the wait time in the U.S. has gradually dipped from the two to three weeks when the new iPad first hit stores in mid-March.
