Five Letter Studios today introduces LittleFingers Video Player 1.0 for iOS devices. The US$0.99 app allows parents to lock the screen during playback, preventing young children from accidentally pausing their favorite shows. Once the video has started, a tap of the padlock control fades the movie controls away so children can watch interrupted. When a parent is ready to browse the videos again, the movie controls can be returned through a simple multitouch gesture.

VZO Entertainment has announced QuizCraze Movies 1.0, its new movie trivia game for iOS devices. It's a free, modern spin on the classic movie trivia quiz game. Players guess the names of cropped movie posters and use hints, skips, and help from their friends on Facebook and Twitter to earn points and climb levels. The game features 12 iconic movie posters on each level with over 10 levels of movie trivia action, Game Center support and more.

Neotko Studios has introduced NumberOne 1.0 for iOS. The $0.99 game is based on the Stroop effect, a demonstration of the reaction time of a task.

Feraco Media has unveiled MS Life Science Buddy 1.0 for iOS. The $1.99 app is a new addition to their apps for education, created by Science Teacher, Frederick Feraco Jr. The app is the ninth title in the series that covers a curriculum that consists of lessons, videos, interactive quizzes, daily news feeds and flash cards, this series features science, mathematics, history and health education topics.

Preschool University has launched Sound Beginnings 1.0 for iOS. The $0.99 app is the 20th in a series of educational apps designed to help young children learn to read. Utilizing proven Montessori principles, this is the company's first paid app.

Sleepy Dog Software has debuted EvalueMate 1.0 for iOS. The $6.99 app is designed to anyone doing inspections, evaluations, walk-throughs, checklists, or punch lists.

Elecont, has rolled out Radar Max 1.0 its new interactive weather radar for iPhone and iPad. The $0.99 app displays high resolution radar around your current location.

Dwayne Westerhausen has served up The Mansion 1.0 for iOS. IT's a free, retro style text adventure/puzzle game developed for the iPad. The object of the game is to find your way out of the Mansion that you were placed in at the start of the game by using hidden clues and puzzles.

Conceptis has premiered Conceptis Sudoku for iOS, a free gaming platform providing six different Sudoku variations in a single app. Alongside classic 9x9 Sudoku grids, the game offers Mini Sudoku, Diagonal Sudoku, Irregular Sudoku and OddEven Sudoku in various difficulty levels.

Oakley Mobile has created World Weather Online mobile for the iPhone and iPad. The $1.99 app offers sporting weather, holiday weather and detailed radar maps of weather forecasts based on your location search.

RGamma has developed Face Reading Booth the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. This $0.99 app purportedly lets users analyze people's face and detect various person's positive and negative traits of their character, based on real face reading techniques.

Skunk Brothers has given us OrigamiGore 1.0 for iOS. It's a castle defense game fin which you control up to four upgradeable turrets to defeat the attacking monsters and defend your castle. OrigamiGore costs $0.99 for the iPhone/iPod touch version and $1.99 for the iPad version.

Pico has served up Posts 1.0, its blogging app for the iPad. The $14.99 tool features multiple blog support, a rich text editor, posts and pages browsers and viewers, and comment reading and moderation tools.
