Apple Volume Purchase Program available in more countries


Apple has told (http://macte.ch/Qfj0u) developers that its Volume Purchase Program is now available in more countries.

Apple says developers can now make their iOS apps available to businesses and educational institutions in the Volume Purchase Program, now offered in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Spain, United Kingdom, and the United States. They can also offer custom B2B [business to business] apps to business customers who have a Volume Purchase Program account.

Developers who participate can offer their apps at a discounted rate for businesses and schools that buy in bulk. Developers can offer educational institutions apps and e-books at reduced pricing on purchases of 20 units or more.
