Analyst: Apple to sell eight million iPhone 5s this launch weekend


In a note to clients -- as reported by "AppleInsider" (www.appleinsider.com) -- Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster says iPhone 5 lines are 83% longer than lines were for the iPhone 4S.

He bases this on a survey of lines at Apple stores in New York, Boston and Minneapolis. Munster predicts eight million iPhones will be sold this launch weekend.
