Mac OS X software updates for Sept. 26


Here are the latest updates for Mac OS X apps:

Macware (www.macware.com) has updated DiskTools Pro -- which lets you schedule when to perform important tasks such as file defragmentation, backup and bad sector repair -- to version 3.8.3. The new version adds support for Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion.

Wondershare (www.wondershare.com) has revved its Video Converter Ultimate, a video conversion tool, to version 6. The upgrade formats and optimizes most videos for the iPhone 5's Retina display.

CS Odessa (www.conceptdraw.com) has launched SWOT/TOWS tool in the ConceptDraw Solution Park. The ConceptDraw solution is titled “SWOT Analysis” and supports every aspect of formulating a SWOT strategy. The “SWOT Analysis” solution, offers a set of visual templates to make every step of the SWOT Analysis process easier for both beginners and professionals.

Macphun (www.macphun.com) has released Snapheal 2.0, an update of its photo app. The upgrade is Mountain Lion and Retina display ready.
