Apple announces special Oct. 23 media event


Apple has sent out an invitation to certain members of the press for an Oct. 23 media event. It will be held at 10 am (Pacific) at the California Theater in San Jose, California.


The invitation boasts that "We've got a little more to show you." The world will be in shock if Apple doesn't announce an iPad mini at the event. Also rumored to be unveiled next week are a 13-inch MacBook Pro with retina display, new iMacs and new Macs minis.
