CloudKid has announced Negative Nimbus. In the US$0.99 game, players help guide a character named Nimbus through the animated worlds of Sunnyland, raining on all the flowers and trying to keep everyone else dry.

Pixplit Technologies has released Pixplit for the iPhone. It offers a creative collaboration network for friends to create images together in a single frame using their mobile phones. Anyone with a valid Facebook account can join Pixplit (www.pixplit.com) and download free app.

JixiPix Software has introduced Portrait Painter 1.0. It's a $3.99, pro/consumer, natural media photo and creative design solution for anyone who wants to produce gallery-style portraits and works of art.

Reiner Knizia has produced Qin for the iPad. It's a $4.99 strategic board game for 2-4 players.

Noisy Typing has unveiled Alphabet Connection: Logic Puzzle Game 1.0. In the game (which is being offered free for a limited time), the player must connect pairs of letters on a board with paths, filling the board without crossing any paths. A level is solved when all letters are joined to their counterparts and the board is completely filled.

GuessMate has launched GuessMate 1.0. In the free game you guess various pictures sent to you from your friends by only looking at a tiny fraction of the image. If you play GuessMate alone, you can go through numerous image collections and try to recognize celebrities, car brands, logos, flags, dogs, cities, paintings, famous politicians, places and things.

Samuel Marin has debuted Sliding Sam 1.0. In the free, physics-based puzzle game you slide Sam, a penguin, from one end to the other. Make numerous hills and valleys so Sam can gather speed in order to slide easily to the end of the course. You can create numerous walls and creative loops and test how your path works each time.

Meridian4 and Oceanside International has presented Monster Mansion. The new, free-to-play character and building management game welcomes monsters of all walks of life to stay in a haunted hotel, with players given the responsibility of keeping the guests happy and haunting.

Gabriel Machuret, an App Store optimization consultant, has published the "App Store Optimization Guide, ASO Ninja." The $9.99 book " takes the concept of SEO and alters it for mobile phone purposes" offering a "way for mobile app developers to boost their ranking and defeat their competitors."

Robert Belluso, an osteopathic physician, has created Little Bird Game 1.0. The $0.99 combines current technology, exotic landscapes, objects, and contraptions. The user tilts the iDevice to the right or left, using gravity and speed to build momentum to get through each level.

Fan Studio has developed Magnificent Alfie 1.0. It's side-scrolling, endless runner game. The premise: "Alfie was dognapped as a baby and sent to the circus. But now, he has had enough. He wants to escape and be free. Players pilot Alfie as he pedals his way to freedom."

25Dev has rolled out Guess Who?! 1.0. The $0.99 app is a remake of the classic game with celebrity stars.
