iPhone/iPod touch/iPad apps for Nov. 9

Here are the latest iPhone/iPod touch/iPod/iPad apps. You can find 'em at the Apple App Store (www.itunes.com/appstore/).

Infragistics (www.infragistics.com), a design and user experience (UX) software company, has announced NucliOS. It's a suite of native iOS UI [user interface] controls to build state-of-the-art applications for iPad and iPhone. NucliOS costs US$995 with priority support, $495 with standard support and $295 with Community support (available exclusively through the Infragistics forums). Subscriptions include all controls, services updates, upgrades and new Product releases for one year.

Sarofax has released Focus Point 1.0 for the iPad and iPad mini. It's a $3.99 photo browsing app that boasts zoomable photo thumbnails.

Ape Entertainment, in partnership with Imangi Studios and Dimension Brand Group, has introduced Temple Run Comics. In the $0.99 app, you begin the adventure with Guy Dangerous as he and a band of adventurers go in search of a lost Incan city and the treasure it holds. Based on the game, the Temple Run Comic App includes the first issue and, for a limited time, the second issue at no additional cost.

Publications International has served up Cookbook Plus. It's a $4.99 white-label cookbook app.

Rad Dragon has launched Shove Pro 1.0.1, a collaboration with fictional Hollywood stuntman Lars Speedwagon. In the $1.99 game, players control Speedwagon as he stars in procedurally generated action movies. An inversion of the infinite-run genre, the gameplay lets players use comedic ragdoll physics to shove innocent bystanders into the goons pursuing them.

AppFolio has unveiled Death Row Drawings. The $3.99 app features "the artistic works" of Thomas M. Overton, prisoner #911193 on Florida death row.
