Real Software has released Real Studio 2012 Release 2, the latest version of its object-oriented, cross-platform software development tool. The new version focuses on improved cross-platform support and specific additions, like Web Control SDK and WebCanvas, to enhance web application development.
Web applications can now be localized to support multiple languages in the same way you localize desktop applications. Real Studio 2012 Release 2 also offers PostgreSQL SSL support for improved security, ays Geoff Perlman, Real Software Founder and CEO.

Real Studio Personal Edition for Mac OS X, Windows or Linux is priced at US$99 and is geared for hobbyists and students. Real Studio Enterprise Edition, made for full-time developers, is priced at $995, and offers the ability to develop and deploy on Mac OS X, Windows, Linux, and the web. Real Studio Web Edition, the fastest and easiest way to create and deploy web applications, is now available and priced at $599.
