Mac OS X software updates for Jan. 23


Here are the latest updates for Mac OS X apps:

Iwaxx (http://www.iwaxx.com) has revved LanScan Pro, which lets you discover the active devices on a network, to version 2.1. Edited hostnames are now colored in gray and the scan is much faster on big networks.

Alekseev Vladislav (http://www.facebook.com/Prototypr) has updated Protoypr, a tool for building iOS app prototypes, to version 1.0.2. It's a maintenance release with bug fixes.

Luma Fung (http://tinyurl.com/8r4mugq) has released FreeSpace 1.2.2, a new version of the app for managing all your connected drives from the menu bar. It adds an eject button for each category and adds a SuperDrive category.

SimpleEdit (http://simpleeditapp.com), a customizable text editor, is now up to version 1.0.4. The upgrade improves encoding detection/handling and LaTeX definition.
