SCSC (www.scsc-online.com) has released an update for Scannerz Lite. Scannerz Lite differs from Scannerz in that it is intended to be used primarily for testing and evaluating the hard drive.
Just like its big brother Scannerz, Scannerz Lite now offers full support for all CoreStorage related components, including full volume encryption under File Vault 2, Fusion Drives, multiple drive and volume spanning under a single logical volume, as well as full support for Apple RAID. There’s no price change in the product line. The cost of Scannerz Lite is US$17.95, Scannerz with FSE-Lite is $34.95 and Scannerz is $44.95.
