Pomola Software has updated Mac Shutdown X (http://tinyurl.com/a2sdyfz), a Mac OS X utility for shutting down a Mac on a specified event or on a specified date and time, to version 3.0. The upgrade offers a “soft shutdown” at the Finder level and a “hard shutown” at the system level.
Mac Shutdown X costs US$12. Upgrades to version 3.0 from previous versions are $6. It requires Mac OS X 10.8 or higher.
