Apple is preparing to release new Macs that support 802.11ac Gigabit wireless, reports “9to5Mac” (http://tinyurl.com/cpx77lf), basing the prediction on code-findings inside of Mac OS X 10.8.4, which was recently released to developers.

The code “was located by a tipster inside of the operating system’s WiFi-frameworks folder,” says “9to5Mac.” 802.11ac code isn’t found in OS X 10.8.3, which is the latest public release of Mac OS X.
