Etón Corp. has announced additions to the Boost mobile charging line including the new Boost 4200, Boost 8400 and BoostTurbine 4000 for on-the-go portable power to mobile devices.
The new BoostTurbine 4000 joins the BoostTurbine family, which the company claims is the world’s only rechargeable battery packs with emergency back-up capability via a hand-crank power generator. The BoostTurbine 4000 doubles the previous battery capacity of existing BoostTurbine products to provide two full charges to most smart phones' plus it boasts a 5V/2.1A USB port that can charge tablets, smartphones and other USB devices.
In one minute, the hand crank power generator can produce enough power for about four minutes of talk time and a few critical texts, according to the folks at Etón Corp. BoostTurbine 4000 is made of tough but lightweight aluminum is compact enough to fit in your pocket.
The Boost 4200 and 8400 products sport a slim design and the unique feature of shaking to check the battery level. When fully charged, Boost 4200 has a 4200mAh lithium battery that can completely charge most smartphones twice plus with the 5V/2.1A USB port it can charge tablets and other USB devices.
The Boost 8400 has an 8400mAh lithium battery that provides the ability to fully charge most smartphones four times. Plus, it boasts dual 5V/2.1A USB ports to simultaneously charge two smartphones, tablets or other USB devices.
