SoundSoap 3 now available at the Mac App Store

Soundness says version 3 of its SoundSoap audio noise reduction software is now available on the Mac App Store in the Video category.

SoundSoap 3 is designed to solve audio noise problems in videos and audio files like unwanted hiss and background noises, clicks, pops, crackles, electrical hum, and rumble. The latest version of the software adds new features, a new user interface, and 64-bit compatibility.

SoundSoap 3 works as a standalone application or as a companion to iMovie, Final Cut Pro X, GarageBand, iPhoto, Premiere, Skype, and other audiovisual software.
The standalone SoundSoap 3 application now features audio recording. After media files have been cleaned with SoundSoap, they can now be shared with one click directly to Facebook, Email, Messaging, AirDrop, and more.

Pricing and Availability:
SoundSoap 3.0.2 on the Mac App Store is a standalone application and costs $79.95 (USD). The SoundSoap 3 application requires Mac OS 10.9 (Mavericks) or later. The standalone version of SoundSoap 3 reads all major video and audio file formats, including QuickTime, H.264, CAF, DV, WAV and AIFF.

SoundSoap 3 is also available for Audio Unit, VST, and RTAS format audio plug-ins. As a plug-in, SoundSoap 3 can be used with applications like ProTools, GarageBand, Digital Performer, Premiere, Audition, and even 64-bit host applications like Logic X and Final Cut Pro X. The SoundSoap 3 plug-ins require Mac OS 10.6 or later.

SoundSoap 3 for Mac OS with Audio Unit/VST/RTAS and standalone formats is available direct from the Soundness online (http://www.soundness-llc.com) for US$149. Upgrades from previous versions of BIAS SoundSoap or SoundSoap Pro are also available direct from Soundness for $49.
