Feenix debuted the Autore gaming keyboard at this week’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. It’s compatible with Mac, Windows, and Linux systems.

Modeled after the monolith from Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey; it’s a minimalist tool that meets the needs of aggressive gamers and typists, says Feenix Creative Director Ashkon Shayani. Lightweight keycaps with cherry MX Brown switches provide an effortless click and tactile response, he adds.

Feenix’s font and aluminum coating is designed to keep the keyboard’s surface elegant and durable, while a subtle upward angel is designed to offer optimal wrist comfort. A gold metal plate runs through the length of the chassis.

The Autore oncludes a HAL-approved gold plated modular mini USB to USB connection with an optional PS/2 adapter. A double Polyurethane layer is built alongside the keyboard’s aluminum coating for added surface quality and protection against spills and beverage damage. The Autore is currently available for preorder at FeenixCollection.com for US$163.
