Kool Tools: Canvio Home Backup & Share

The Canvio Home Backup & Share from Toshiba’s Digital Products Division (DPD) offers a simple and powerful network attached storage hub for the connected home that brings together content and allows easy access to digital assets.

Available in capacities up to 3TB, the Canvio Home enables the availability of content on a contextual basis, flowing from device to device, screen to screen and location to location. The storage hub was designed specifically to address past complications of storing files with easy-to-install and easy-to-use software for the most important functions. Once it’s up and running, users can log in and find the files and other content they want.
The Canvio Home stores all of a user’s digital assets in a familiar, centralized location. Whether you're away on business, across town, or across the world, as long as theres an Internet connection, content stored on the Canvio Home is always accessible.

Canvio Home is compatible with Mac OS X, iOS and Windows devices, as well as Android-based smartphones and tablets and DLNA-compatible media streaming devices. It lets you stream media wirelessly all around a connected home.

The Toshiba Canvio® Home Backup & Share is available for purchase at select retailers and on toshiba.com/us/ at a manufacturer's suggested retail price of US$199.99 for the 2TB model and $259.99 for the 3TB model.
