iLuv Creative Technology has announced the selfy ecosystem, which includes iPhone 5/5s cases and Samsung Galaxy S5 cases with a built-in wireless camera shutter.
The remote shutter is integrated into the back of each case so it’s always available for use. It pairs with the aforementioned smartphones via Bluetooth. No app is needed.
Due to the design of the selfy case, it accommodates a variety of accessories such as a mini-tripod, bar mount, helmet mount and car mount. The selfy has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price will be available in black and pink at iLuv.com/selfy and select retailers later this month. Mounts in the selfy ecosystem have an MSRP between $19.99 and $24.99 and will be available later in May at iLuv.com/selfy and select retailers.
