QuickLicense for the Mac updated with new features for Excel spreadsheets

QuickLicense 7.0.4 on Mac and Windows from Excel Software (http://www.excelsoftware.com) has been enhanced with new features for Excel spreadsheets delivered as a protected EXE or APP file.  QuickLicense was also enhanced to support new features in WebActivation 2.0.  

AddLicense adds three new checkboxes to the Spreadsheet Options dialog.  The Confirm Save Changes checkbox can be set to prompt the user to save or discard changes when closing a spreadsheet.  The Hide Open Close Document Message checkbox can be set to suppress the Open Document and Save Document messages presented when opening or closing a workbook.  The Show Open Data File Window on Close checkbox can be set to present the Open Data File window after closing a spreadsheet.  If not set, the application is closed and the user must launch the application again to present this window.

Microsoft Excel is available in a 32-bit or 64-bit edition.  Most users will install the 32-bit edition since that is the default and is recommend by Microsoft for most users.  Users of Office 365, can install the 32-bit or 64-bit edition.  It appears that the 64-bit edition of Microsoft Excel can no longer be launched from a 32-bit application.

To support 64-bit Excel, the Win64 radio button in QuickLicense Pro Windows 7.0.4 was enhanced to output a 64-bit application that works with either 32-bit or 64-bit Excel.   

To summarize, if you set the Win32 radio button when building an EXE with QuickLicense Standard or Pro, your application will work with 32-bit Excel running on a 32-bit or 64-bit computer.  If you set the Win64 radio button when building the EXE from AddLicense in QuickLicense Pro, the EXE will run on any 64-bit computer with either 32-bit or 64-bit Excel.

Many runtime commands were enhanced in QuickLicense 7.0.4 to support the new capabilities.
