DEVONtechnologies (http://www.devontechnologies.com) has updated all editions of its smart document and information manager DEVONthink. as well as of DEVONnote and the freeware menubar launcher XMenu.

The updates are free and recommended for all users. DEVONthink is the document and information manager for the Mac. Version 2.7.7 recognizes Swift source code files as plain text, retains more metadata than before when exporting documents, and prefills the Save panel with tags.

In addition to DEVONthink and DEVONnote, DEVONtechnologies has updated the freeware menubar launcher XMenu with an improved Brasilian Portuguese localization. All updates are free and recommended for all users.

All editions of DEVONthink and DEVONnote require an Intel-based Mac and OS X 10.7.5 or later (on the Mac App Store: OS X 10.8.3 or later), XMenu requires OS X 10.6.8 (App Store: OS X 10.8.3 or later). DEVONthink and DEVONnote be test-driven for free before they need to be properly licensed. DEVONthink, DEVONnote, and XMenu are also available in the Mac App Store; DEVONthink Pro and Pro Office can also be purchased together with DEVONagent Pro as Infoworker’s Pro (Office) Bundle in DEVONtechnologies’ online shop.
