Tension Software (http://www.tensionsoftware.com) has revved CrytoEdit, a Mac OS X app for creating/editing “encrypted by default” documents, to version 2.0.1. It’s a maintenance upgrade.

CryptoEdit can manage TEXT, RTF and RTFD (with images) formats. It saves documents on disk always as encrypted and is designed as a solution for managing reserved documents with formatted text and images.

CryptoEdit requires Mac OS X 10.8 or higher and costs US$3.99. It’s available at the Mac App Store or directly from Tension Software.
