Tension Software (www.tensionsoftware.com) has updated CryptoEdit for Mac OS X to version 2.1.

It’s an application for creating and editing “encrypted by default” documents. It can manage TEXT, RTF and RTFD (with images) format. CryptoEdit saves documents on disk always as encrypted.

It’s designed as a solution to manage reserved documents with formatted text and images. Version 1.1 provides autolock of documents when in background, a better lock of documents, enhanced startup options, and improved working “As a Service” from other applications.

CryptoEdit requires Mac OS X 10.10 or higher. It costs $4.99 and is available at the Tension Software website and the Mac App Store.
