XOGGLE BETA 1B27 RELEASED
17 SEPTEMBER 2002 -- Xoggle, the open-source Boggle game developement
effort, was updated today from developer Drew Hamlin of Vizspring Software.
Xoggle is an open-source, networkable game of the popular classic game
Boggle. It includes a full dictionary word list as well as REALbasic and
text-based source code.
Changes in release 1B27:
- Added preferences dialog with the option to auto-define the word list instead
of having to manually select it at the start of each game
- Fixed a bug where Xoggle would fail to pick the longest possibility in some

ResourceEdit, a novel plugin for REALbasic
ResourceEdit, a novel plugin for REALbasic.
This plugin has been put to life for a couple of reasons. The first reason
was to provide tools you can use to meaningfully implement a new class that
comes with NavDialog Plugin. This new class is called NavCustomization,
which allows you to add a DITL resource to a NavDialog window. Navigation
Services allows you to do this, and because Navigation belongs to the Human
Interface Experience, it was almost imperative to implement. In order to
give the REALbasic programmer the necessary tools, a new plugin had to be
created, which does several things.
1) Allows you to use existing REALbasic controls for prototyping DITL and
DLOG resources.
2) Write resources out into a resourcefork.
3) Provide classes you use to bring life into these resources.
4) Make it compatible with the NavDialog Plugin.
A spin-off of this plugin is possibly the provision of tools you could

Symantec is pleased to announce the availability of inline updates that
make Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh 8.0, Norton Utilities for Macintosh 7.0
and Norton SystemWorks for Macintosh 2.0 compatible with Mac OS X version
10.2.
Users must run Symantec's built-in LiveUpdate feature in order to download
the free inline updates.
Norton Personal Firewall for Macintosh 2.0 does not require an inline
update. The product currently runs with Mac OS X version 10.2 with the
following exceptions:
* The preferences window cannot be closed after turning on UDP protection.
* Norton Personal Firewall is not compatible with Internet sharing.
