Adobe unleashes Creative Suite 3 product line

There are six all-new configurations of Adobe Creative Suite 3: Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium and Design Standard editions; Adobe Creative Suite 3 Web Premium and Web Standard editions; and Adobe Creative Suite 3 Production Premium. Rounding out the product line is Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection, which combines 12 of Adobe’s new design and development applications in a single box. The majority of Adobe Creative Suite 3 editions will be available as Universal Binary applications that run natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs.

Creative Suite 3 Design Premium

Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium (shown) combines tools for page layout, image editing, illustration, and Adobe PDF workflows with newly integrated components for creating publications, web sites, interactive experiences and mobile content. It contains full new versions of InDesign CS3, Photoshop CS3 Extended, Illustrator CS3, Acrobat 8 Professional, Flash CS3 Professional and Dreamweaver CS3. Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premimum also includes Bridge CS3, Acrobat Connect, Adobe Stock Photos, Version Cue CS3 and Adobe Device Central CS3.

Creative Suite 3 Web Premium

Creative Suite 3 Web Premium offers a toolset for web designers and developers to prototype, design, develop and maintain web sites, applications, games, presentations, and mobile content. The suite combines all of the Adobe applications that web designers and developers require -- including new versions of Dreamweaver CS3, Flash CS3 Professional, Fireworks CS3, Contribute CS3 -- with major releases of key design tools, including Photoshop CS3 Extended, Illustrator CS3 and Acrobat 8 Professional. Additionally, Adobe announced Creative Suite 3 Web Standard software for web designers and developers focusing on interactive design and development.

Creative Suite 3 Production Premium

Creative Suite 3 Production Premium is designed to offer a complete integrated post-production solution. It packs new releases of Adobe's video, audio and web software, including After Effects CS3 Professional, Premiere Pro CS3, Encore CS3, Photoshop CS3 Extended, Illustrator CS3, Flash CS3 Professiona and Soundbooth CS3.

Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium and Standard, and Adobe Creative Suite 3 Web Premium and Standard will begin shipping in April. Adobe Creative Suite 3 Production Premium and Adobe Creative Suite 3 Master Collection for Mac OS X on Intel-based systems and for Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Vista platforms will begin shipping worldwide in the third quarter of 2007.
