Apple posts iPhoto 6.0.2, Front Row 1.2.1, Power Mac G5 firmware update

Yesterday Apple posted [urlhttp://www.macsimumnews.com/index.php/archive/apple_releases_itunes_604_security_update/]iTunes 6.0.4 and Security Update 2006-001[/url]. Now it's released iPhoto 6.0.2 and Front Row 1.2.1. Both are available via the Software Update Component of the System Utilities or at the [url=http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/]Apple download site[/url]. The company has also released a Power Mac G5 firmware update.

iPhoto 6.0.2 corrects "several minor issues" associated with playing shared slideshows in Front Row, according to Apple. Front Row 1.2.1 improves compatibility with iTunes and iPhoto sharing.

The [url=http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/powermacg5late2004firmwareupdatemacosx1043v11.html]Power Mac G5 firmware update[/url] is only for the 1.8GHz, single-processor Power Mac G5 (late 2004) and supports installation on Mac OS X 10.4.3 or later. It also improves the reliability of your Power Mac G5, especially after it has been inactive for two hours.
