Blue Raven intros new iPod speaker/docking systems

There are four models available with this announcement: the Maestro 2020 Bluetooth Speaker System; the Maestro 2020 Dockable Speaker System; the Maestro 2040 Bluetooth Speaker System and the Maestro 2040 Dockable Speaker System. Both Maestro systems equipped with Bluetooth technology enable consumers to play music from any Bluetooth-enabled device, including an iPod, iPhone, cell phone or any other MP3 and MP4 player.

Blue Raven also sells an optional Bluetooth iPod Nano and Video MP3 Player Transmitter adaptor that turns any iPod into a Bluetooth-enabled device. These adaptors sell for US$49.

The 2020 boasts 20 watts of digital audio power and the 2040 provides 40 watts, both in the Bluetooth and the regular models. Frequency response on the 2020 is 70Hz~25KHz and 50Hz~25KHz on the 2040. Consumers can connect almost any other audio device to the unit with the auxiliary in port, and can output videos for display on a TV from the dockable models and output to an optional sub-woofer from the Bluetooth models.

The Maestro 2040 also comes with a 12-key remote, and the 2020 with a 9-key remote for across the room control. The products come in black, white or red, and weigh about 16 pounds for the 2020 and 22 pounds for the 2040.

The Maestro 2020's manufacturer's suggested retail price is $169.95 and the Maestro 2020 Bluetooth SRP is $199.95. The Maestro 2040 costs $229.95, while the Maestro 2040 Bluetooth is priced at $299.95.
