Emtrace Technologies, a smartphone solutions developer, has released Moxier Wallet for Mac computers. Available as a “freemium” download at http://www.moxier.com, Moxier Wallet is a password manager and personal information vault for the Mac, Windows systems, iPhones and iPod touches.

It boasts encryption technology, and automatic multi-platform synchronization capabilities. Moxier Wallet is a self-contained, master password protected software application that stores personal data in an encrypted database. No information is stored in the computer’s temporary files, and there are no confusing forms to fill out or complicated steps to follow to get started.

Consumers use one of the templates provided to fill out web log-in information or other frequently used data. Moxier Wallet includes a popup window that stays open on top of browsers or other applications so users can: copy and paste stored data to access web sites; copy and paste credit card data to make web purchases; or access personal data on the go such as prescription and health information, frequent flyer numbers, automobile information, insurance data, private notes, and more.

Moxier Wallet has a number of security features including data masking, local backup, self-destruct, and automatic system lock. It also employs 256-bit U.S. Government standard encryption technology (Advanced Encryption Standard 256). A premium subscription of Moxier Wallet — US$19.99 per year — allows users to synchronize data online or perform a device-to-device synchronization between a Mac, a PC, an iPhone, and an iPod touch for data access on-the-go.
