The purpose of this initiative, according to Freed-Hardeman, is "to understand the technological needs and expectations of our students and faculty so that we can effectively use information technology to enhance instruction and improve student learning outcomes."
Our objectives for this program include:
° Improving the student experience;
° Improving student learning outcomes;
° Strengthening communications and relationships;
° Facilitating faculty innovation;
° Distinguishing FHU and its students;
° Strengthening the school's academic reputation;
° Preparing students to become successful, life-long learners
iKnow starts with the MacBook. The university says: "It’s the beginning step to enhance the educational experiences of our students. The possibilities for learning are greatly increased when you can teach and learn anytime, anywhere."
